As long-time residents of Dallas, we opened our first pawn shop in Cedar Hill over 28 years ago. Establishing a company brand with a relevant and meaningful name is no easy task! We felt that when people need help or want to borrow money, they turn to family. And, with that sentiment in mind the Uncle Dan’s brand was born. Twenty-eight years later Uncle Dan’s Pawn has grown to six thriving pawn shops strategically placed throughout Dallas County. In late 2013, we began selling new electronics and firearms at discounted prices. Our customers overwhelmingly embraced the new buying opportunities and set us on the path to expand the Uncle Dan’s brand to a retail outlet store. Now fully restored our new Outlet store boasts over 8,500 sq. ft of retail space in a well-lit, welcoming environment with state of the art LED color-changing signage. It only seems fitting that Uncle Dan’s Outlet is the new home of the former neighborhood bargain center, Woolworth’s. In keeping with the spirit and history of the iconic retailer, Uncle Dan’s Outlet will sell a wide variety of high quality merchandise at rock bottom prices.
